Mixed Media Tags

So I went on a crazy tag making spree.   I made 3 sets, all with different media and really enjoyed it.  

The first set was inspired by Roben-Marie's Collage-tastic Calendar Tag Project.  I just loved the style and the fact that she is using scraps and recycle material for this project.  I didn't use old calendar pages as bases but I did use all scraps of paper from my left over bin, book pages, wall paper and scrap fabric.  I sewed these pieces on with the sewing machine and added some washi, doodles, bubble wrap paint stamps and foam stamps to embellish.  The purple heart is heat embossed. The next set I made was made using junk mail as the base.  I dug out some of those big huge postcards you get that are advertising piece, cut them up in tag size and painted them.  I then sewed down dictionary pages along with scraps of decorative paper, wall paper, and some extra stamped images.  I used paint to bubble wrap stamp and stencil to finish the tags off.  Love these!  Junk mail never looked so good.  

The last set of tags was for a tag swap I was in.  I decided to use all my large foam stamps because of how much texture these stamps have.  

I first inked all the tags with some liquid ink...

I then stamped them with Staz On ink, making sure to stamp the excess off on newspaper.  I'll use this newspaper later for a recycling project or background paper.  

I added some fun fibers....
