I made 2 mini journals for my sister in law. I made them out of scraps and homemade flowers. They were super easy and quick to make.
The one on the left measures 5.5 x 3.75 inches and the one on the right measures 4.5 x 3.25 inches.
Two homemade flowers and a metal initial.
Another homemade flower.
The next two journals I made really quick on the fly for a birthday party. My son was invited to a birthday party for one of his friends who is a triplet. He has 2 sisters. Well my son didn't want to go to the party empty handed for his friend's sisters, so...MOM TO THE RESCUE.
Aren't they so cute?! I had a lot of fun making girly stuff. I don't get to do that very often. I made these so quickly but really like how they turned out. I added a ribbon closure and a ribbon for a book mark.
Scrapbooking? Yes but in a whole new way. I love Smash* books, Daybooks* mini albums and junk journals. I love recycling and making my own books. This blog is all about my love for non traditional scrapbooking and journaling. I will have tutorials, fun ideasand tips on how to recycle and save money.
