My family go me some gift cards for crafty things year for Christmas. I was so excited to go shopping for them and I wanted to share. I got several sizzix dies (can you have too many of those?), a couple Cuttlebug embossing folders, a couple stamp sets and my first LaBlanche stamp. I am excited to use this stamp and see how the quality is. Below are pictures and hopefully I will be able to post projects using these soon.
An alpha punch set I've been wanting. I have one but it's much bigger than this. Thanks Aunt Joy!
A bird die and a new flower die. Don't have anything like either of them. Thanks Sis!
Tree and leaf dies I couldn't get this fall. They were all sold out. Got them after Christmas on sale. The item on the right is the LaBlanche stamp. I will do a separate post on these stamps. Thanks Mom and Dad!
Cuttlebug embossing folders and a couple stamp sets from the Hubby! He always knows just what to get me.
These two I got with a gift card from my sister in law from my birthday back in April. Don't know what I was thinking waiting so long to spend that but I am glad I did. I intend to use the flower die to make poinsettia flowers for Christmas projects and the film die, that I have been wanting forever, in scrapbook and mini albumns. I plan to do some Christmas in July projects so hopefully we'll see that poinsettia flower then.
Last, my sister Rosa made these for us. Aren't they cute! She is not a knitter but wanted to make us all something special for Christmas. She went and learned how to do this and made them for everyone. I love it and it makes the gift even more special because she made it herself.
Scrapbooking? Yes but in a whole new way. I love Smash* books, Daybooks* mini albums and junk journals. I love recycling and making my own books. This blog is all about my love for non traditional scrapbooking and journaling. I will have tutorials, fun ideasand tips on how to recycle and save money.
